About Dr. John Mistretta, D.C.

Dr. John Mistretta has practiced chiropractic since 1987 and has cared for more than 20,000 patients. He takes time to explain what is causing a problem and exactly what it takes to correct it.

Dr. John found chiropractic as a patient. In his words: "When I was 12 years old, I suffered a bad fall. It resulted in a back injury, which caused me a lot of pain, but also several other health issues that I thought were unrelated. For months, my parents took me from doctor to doctor, all trying something different. But no matter what any of them did, I got no results. As a last resort, we tried chiropractic. And not only did it help with the back pain, it totally got rid of it, but my other health conditions cleared up, too. I decided from that experience right then that that's what I wanted to do for other people. And even after practicing for 39 years, that's still what drives me."

Philosophy

In his words: "I understand that when you're in pain, the most important thing is to get you relief as quickly as possible. We also look at your spine, nervous system, and joints to see how they are working together. We look at your health history, your symptoms, and your health goals before recommending a care plan that is tailored to you. Our goal is not to keep you coming in forever, but to get you feeling better and provide tools to manage your health in the future."
