Choosing a Chiropractor in Warren, Ohio: What 39 Years Has Taught Me About Who Actually Gets Better

The patients who do best here are usually the ones who arrive having already failed somewhere else. That is not a slight against anybody who treated them. It is the pattern, and there is a reason for it, and understanding it is the most useful thing I can tell you if you are trying to decide who to see in Warren.

I know the pattern because I was one of them.

Why I do this

When I was 12 years old, I suffered a bad fall. It resulted in a back injury, which caused me a lot of pain, but also several other health issues that I thought were unrelated. For months, my parents took me from doctor to doctor, all trying something different. But no matter what any of them did, I got no results.

As a last resort, we tried chiropractic. It did not only help with the back pain, it totally got rid of it, and my other health conditions cleared up too.

I decided from that experience, right then, that that is what I wanted to do for other people. After practicing for 39 years, that is still what drives me. I love to see people who have tried everything else, got no results, maybe suffered for years, and finally they try chiropractic and find out that that was the solution to their problem.

What that means for how you should choose

It means the question to ask a chiropractor is not what technique they use. It is how they decide what is wrong with you.

Anybody can adjust a spine. The part that determines whether you get better is whether the person you are seeing has correctly identified what is causing your problem, and whether they can explain it to you in a way that lets you judge the plan for yourself. If nobody has ever explained your own condition to you in plain language, that is worth noticing, because it usually means the plan was built on a guess.
