Dr. John’s Smoothie Class
These recipes are mixed in a Vitamix or a similar processor.
Add ingredients 2 at a time, mix as you go. The green smoothie is the healthiest. The last two smoothies are fun and healthier options, rather than going to a DQ. Your kids will love them!!!
Green Smoothie
- Spinach, 1/2 or whole bag
- Water, 1 cup
- Celery, 2 stalks
- Pineapple, 4 or 5 rings
- Bananas, 2
- SP Green Food or Nanogreens, optional
- Frozen blueberries, 1 cup
- Apple, 1 quartered
Fruit Smoothie
- Almond milk, 1 cup
- Cashews, about 20
- Honey, 1-2 teaspoons (use local)
- Bananas, 2
- Strawberries, 8-10
- Ice, 8 cubes
Milk Shake
- Almond milk, 1 cup
- Non fat dry milk, 1/2 cup
- Cashews, about 20
- Ovaltine, 5 teaspoons
- Banana extract, 3 drops
- Coconut extract, 3 drops
- Frozen bananas, 2
- Ice, 8 cubes
